Have you ever heard of Shea Butter? Well you should because it has many benefits and have been used for awhile now. It is made from the nut of a African Shea tree. In its raw form it is yellow until it becomes processed and turns white. It has many benefits, which I will be talking about so lets jump into it!
According to Healthline, Shea butter has 22 benefits. One of the benefits is that it is anti-inflammatory. On the site it says,”When applied to the skin, Shea triggers cytokines and other inflammatory cells to slow their production. This may help minimize irritation caused by environmental factors, such as dry weather, as well as inflammatory skin conditions, such as eczema.” This would be very helpful in places such as Arizona which has dry weather.

Another use for Shea butter is that it is a great moisturizer. Using this can help your skin absorb and hold moisture. An additional benefit is that not oily and that it can be used for all skin types. Personally, Shea butter has helped my skin drastically. During my freshman year, I never used lotions because they would not hold in my skin. After doing a lot of research, Shea butter is what really worked for my skin.
